X-23 Issue #1

This is an excellent start to a great series about the next phase of the Weapon X project. This mutant’s codename is X-23 and she was born from DNA gathered from Wolverine. The comic assumes you’ve read through the NYX comics series (which is excellent as well) and starts off with X-23 in an interrogation room with Captain America and unnamed man, and goes into X-23’s origin story for a bit and explains her current situation. It’s an excellent read and well worth picking up.

Well as i was skimming trough my list of sites to see whats going on in the comic world. Marvel decided to release a First Look at their new comic “The Order”. Apparently this comic is about a team put together by Iron Man, and consists of Hollywood’s Good Looking Superheroes. It seems like Iron Man has a secret agenda planned for this team…damn that Tony Stark and his shady deeds, how dare you pick on those beautiful people in hollywood. If anything ill give this comic a good read. As far as im concerned the art is considerably well drawn and detailed.

looks like this should be interesting.

So yesterday at my local comic shop, A Comic Shop, the release of Sinestro Corps was set off with a bang, not just your regular sort of bang either, im talking full nuke. They had Ethan Van Sciver for an in store sketch/signing as well as limited edition prints for raffle/purchase. It was insane! I happened to be lucky to have been their early enough to get Sinestro Corps, Green Lantern Rebirth(sketch variant), as well as a limited edition Action Figure Blueprint inks(done by Sciver himself) all signed. This was insane event. not only was it awesome that he would sit and answer questions like rapid fire while he was signing. Lets put it this way. it was amazing.

I’ll try to get the limited edition action figure sketch picture, as well as the comic autographs up asap.

Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps Special.
From the creator of Green Lantern Rebirth, comes Sinestro Corps. This comic brings an intense and igniting intergalactic war that will explode over into Green Lantern and the Green Lantern Corps series of comics.
I thought that this comic was amazing, art work was brilliant coming from Van Sciver. The Plot was really intense and kept me involved the whole read. This book is full of insane twists and awesome combat. I Highly Recommend.

Black Panther #28

Black Panther was really good this month. A real big tie in to Marvel Zombies, as if the cover wasn’t a dead give away. Black Panther and his random group get stranded on a Skrull Planet only to see the damn marvel zombies on their way to the skrull planet using the powers gained from Galactus in the Marvel Zombies series. Really Good issue, suggested pick up.

X-Men #200

I really dug this cover!, i even bought the poster size which is insanely big. Large Fight Scene, good info uncovered and Major death. other than that. well there isn’t anything better than that. also a suggested pick-up.

World War Hulk: X-men

This was by far my most favorite tie in to World War Hulk yet! almost all action, great fight scene. And the Hulk actually knows what he’s after. He makes sure he gets it. Recommended Pick up

The Boys 8

Really good for the 8th issue, not so much a fighting issue as it is a really nice build up for issue 9. Its knocking at the doorsteps of my reserve file next month.

World War Hulk Frontline 1

Good tie in. If you liked Civil War: Frontline this is for you. Its the same team from the first run around.

Thunderbolts 115
Most Crucial issue of the Thunderbolts Initiative so far. Venom gets some food, and Bullseye is in for a treat.this issue is a Must Pick up!

Countdown 44

Really not to much to say good tie ins and a preparation for Sinestro right here. its gonna be big!

Annihilation Vol3.

The final trade Hard back for the Annihilation series. I liked this more than Civil War to be honest as far as a good story is concerned. Universe? or Earth? hah. Nova good luck. If you haven’t heard about annihilation take it from me, its good and you should try it out. Word of Advice: the first two trades (vol. 1 and 2) are hard to find/order, so find someones to borrow. Recommended Reading.
